SkyBlocks: Human-Centered Innovation and Customer Experience in the Cloud

I recently had the opportunity to take part in a truly special conversation—one that was not only professionally insightful but also personally inspiring. I spoke with Mihály Litzler, CEO of Proserv, one of our oldest and most valued clients. During the podcast, we explored topics that closely align with SkyBlocks’ values and unique approach.

Misi’s humility really struck me. Despite calling himself “just an ordinary sysadmin guy,” he has extensive experience across multiple industries, from automotive to finance. In this article, I’ll share the key takeaways from our discussion—insights that I hope others will also find valuable.

One of Misi’s most intriguing observations was that, while SkyBlocks is technically a public cloud service, he experiences it as a private cloud. As he put it: “I feel like it’s mine.”

This perception isn’t just due to the familiarity of the infrastructure, which is VMware-based and fully compatible with their existing data center solutions. It also comes from our human-centered approach to customer relationships. Having a highly experienced Hungarian-speaking support team gives him a sense of security that’s rarely found with large multinational cloud providers.

Throughout our conversation, one thing became crystal clear: customer-centricity is at the heart of what we do. Misi explained that Proserv’s success stems in part from their approach to IT—not just as a technology, but as a competitive advantage. For them, predictable costs are crucial, as they enable smooth, long-term planning. This is where SkyBlocks truly stands out—offering a transparent pricing model with no hidden fees, so clients can confidently build their business processes on our cloud.

Misi also shared his thoughts on the future of AI, providing a compelling perspective. While he acknowledged that AI is already reshaping the IT industry, he pointed out that its long-term effects on work and society remain uncertain. Automation can drive efficiency, but it also introduces significant challenges related to value creation and employment. This duality won’t just impact the IT sector—it will be felt across nearly every industry.

This discussion reinforced my belief that SkyBlocks’ core values—predictability, a human-centered approach, and flexibility—create real value for our clients. Proserv’s experience highlights that these values don’t just make day-to-day operations easier; they also empower businesses to navigate the ever-evolving challenges of digital transformation with confidence.
